Things we wish our GP would know about PCOS and how they could better help us.
I'm working on a piece for GPs about common misunderstandings or oversights in caring for individuals with PCOS.
I would love to hear your thoughts. You can anonymously leave a comment in the area below!
This will also give you a chance to be seen and heard. Your fellow warriors can read what you have to say too!
Let's demand better!

This problem is bigger than the GPs themselves. This systemic issue with women’s health needs to end! There are so many problems with research into women’s health care not being funded alongside the fact that PCOS is constantly referred to as a gynaecological issue it is not, it is an endocrine issue so referrals to endocrinology need to become the choice for GPs instead of sweeping us under a wet blanket!!

I wish it wasn’t so scary to see my GP, they always tell me to lose weight before even checking me.

I wish that doctors would stop focusing on fertility when offering us help with our pcos.
